How many coasters does Bellewaerde have?

That height gap matters. A child at 110 cm can ride Wakala, Huracan, Dawson Duel and Brazilian Buggies with an adult, stays off Boomerang until 130 cm, and rides none of them solo until 120 cm. That is why Wakala minimum height is a real question: 100 cm, solo from 120 cm. Boomerang minimum height is stricter: 130 cm, full stop.
Wakala or Boomerang?
The choice between Wakala and Boomerang mainly depends on the type of ride you want: a modern family coaster or a shuttle coaster with inversions.
Wakala is the star that gave Bellewaerde a modern family coaster in 2020: Gerstlauer, 660 metres, 21 metres, 50 km/h, two lifts, switch track and a vertical rollback through the pines of Canada. On Instagram Wakala wins. In the queue too, if everyone has the same idea.
Boomerang is the older sibling in Mexico: Vekoma shuttle from 1984, 285 metres, over 35 metres tall, three inversions you ride both ways. Search Boomerang Bellewaerde and you want upside down — not between the trees. Skip Boomerang and you miss the ride that carried Bellewaerde as a thrill park for years.
Short advice: want inversions, start at Boomerang — but check the Bellewaerde live wait times first. If Boomerang is already past 30 minutes and Wakala is not, swap the order. Want airtime without going over, Wakala is the tighter choice. Do not stack them blindly in the same hour. Canada and Mexico sit on opposite sides of the park.

Huracan: the indoor one, not leftovers
Huracan is not a kiddie train with a Maya theme wrapped around it. Zierer Force, 500 metres, 15 metres, 50 km/h, dark show, onboard sound. When Wakala has a 60-minute wait, Huracan is often the better family-coaster option, especially in wet weather. Mexico has two coasters; do not skip the indoor because you already did Boomerang.
Dawson Duel and Brazilian Buggies: the other half
Dawson Duel is not a circuit with a lift that hauls you up. Wiegand Sport Coaster, Canada, two tracks side by side, 490 metres, 25 metres, 40 km/h. You manage the brake. This guide counts Dawson Duel as a coaster because it runs on an elevated track at speed.
Brazilian Buggies is the Zamperla junior in Mundo Amazonia: 92 metres, 5 metres, 27 km/h, 90 cm. The starter. No must for anyone coming for Boomerang, but the ride the youngest boards while the rest queue at Wakala.
El Toro is not a coaster
El Toro is a HUSS Breakdance in Mexico. It spins. It has no rails. Search Bellewaerde El Toro expecting a coaster and you are on the wrong ride. Same for Screaming Eagle: Shot'n Drop, 140 cm, drop tower, not a track.

Which one should you ride?
- Check live, not memory. Open the Bellewaerde live wait times before you lock a route.
- Height first, taste second. Under 130 cm, Boomerang is out; under 100 cm, Wakala, Huracan and Dawson Duel are out.
- Wakala and Boomerang are not fillers. Those are the two queues the day turns on — and they sit in different lands.
- Huracan is the third coaster, not leftovers. Especially if Wakala already has a line, or if it rains.
- Dawson Duel counts. Alpine, you brake, still a coaster in this guide.
- Skip El Toro if you want a track. That is the Breakdance, not the coaster.
- Water is the other Bellewaerde question. Amazonia and Niagara belong with the water rides in the Netherlands and Belgium.
