Search Toverland roller coasters and you do not want a list of 41 attractions with teacups mixed in. Toverland has five real coasters. The rest is magic, water and carousels — fun, but not what you typed. Belgian visitors especially search this, and Google used to dump them on an English park page. This guide lines up Troy to Toos-Express, with height limits and live waits.
Written in August 2026. Opening, downtime and queues change daily — always open the Toverland live wait times before you sprint from Avalon to Ithaka.
The five coasters
| Ride | Type | Min. height | When to pick it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Troy | Wooden GCI (Ithaka, 2007) | 120 cm | The classic: long, airtime, Trojan Horse. |
| Fēnix | B&M wing coaster (Avalon, 2018) | 132 cm | The modern magnet: three inversions, 95 km/h, firebird. |
| Booster Bike | Vekoma motorbike (Magical Valley, 2004) | 140 cm | The motorbike coaster. Strictest height rule. |
| Dwervelwind | Mack spinning (Magical Valley, 2012) | 100 cm | Spinning, playful, great in between or with kids. |
| Toos-Express | Indoor family (Land of Toos, 2001) | 90 cm | The starter: covered, colourful, lowest bar. |
That height gap matters. A child at 110 cm can ride Toos-Express and Dwervelwind, stays off Troy and Fēnix, and never boards Booster Bike. That is why Fēnix minimum height is a real question: 132 cm, and Booster Bike sits even higher.
Troy or Fēnix?
This is the duel the day turns on.
Fēnix feels like the new star: seats beside the rail, three inversions, Avalon theming. On Instagram Fēnix wins. In the queue too, if everyone has the same idea.
Troy is the wooden counterpart in Ithaka: over a kilometre of track, almost 87 km/h, no inversions but that GCI airtime. Skip Troy and you miss the park’s character.
Short advice: want inversions, start at Fēnix. Want the ride fans still talk about, do not leave Troy as an afterthought. Check the Toverland live wait times: if one is already past 40 minutes and the other is not, swap the order. Do not stack them blindly in the same hour.
The Toverland planning tips help: historical patterns often show the magnet (Fēnix) filling up before the wooden neighbour.
Booster Bike: the motorbike coaster
Search Toverland motorbike coaster and you land here. Booster Bike is not a bobkart and not a family ride: it is a Vekoma motorbike coaster. You sit astride a motorcycle saddle, get a launch, and you need 140 cm. That is the park’s strictest coaster.
Families whose teens only just make Fēnix often stop here. Check height at the entrance before crossing Magical Valley for this one. On quiet days it is a lovely extra; on peak days it is the ride you skip if Fēnix and Troy already cost an hour.
Dwervelwind and Toos-Express
Dwervelwind is the friendly spinner next to Djengu in Magical Valley: 100 cm, Mack, spins. Perfect when the thrill group is at Fēnix and everyone else still wants speed.
Toos-Express is the indoor family coaster in Land of Toos: 90 cm, Vekoma, rain-proof. Not a must for thrill-seekers, but the first real coaster for many kids. On a wet Limburg day this is when the rest of the park heads inside — watch the Toverland live wait times extra closely then.
Minimum height at a glance
| Coaster | Minimum height |
|---|---|
| Toos-Express | 90 cm |
| Dwervelwind | 100 cm |
| Troy | 120 cm |
| Fēnix | 132 cm |
| Booster Bike | 140 cm |
Park rules can change; the measuring pole at the entrance always beats a blog. But this is why “can my child ride Fēnix?” is not the same question as “can my child ride a coaster at Toverland?”
Which one should you ride?
- Check live, not memory. Open the Toverland live wait times before you lock a route.
- Height first, taste second. Under 120 cm, Troy, Fēnix and Booster Bike are out.
- Fēnix and Troy are not side quests. Those two queues decide the day.
- Booster Bike is optional for most groups. Only if height matches and the top two are not already eating an hour.
- Water is the other Toverland question. Expedition Zork and Djengu River belong with the water rides in the Netherlands and Belgium — not this coaster list.
