English theme park expands new themed area with children's coaster
Paultons Park opened Farmyard Flyer, a Zierer children's coaster in the Tornado Springs themed area. The ride matches the area's 1950s American setting and gives younger guests their own coaster adventure among the larger headline attractions.
More context
At the start of April 2022, Tornado Springs at Paultons Park gained another roller coaster. Farmyard Flyer opened as a children's coaster in the themed area that had been introduced a year earlier, placing guests in a 1950s desert town in America. With a top speed of 36 km/h, the ride is clearly aimed at young families rather than thrill seekers chasing records. The addition fits tightly into the area's visual language. German manufacturer Zierer supplied the coaster, and the train is designed as a crop-dusting plane used to water crops at an American farm. That makes Farmyard Flyer more than a small coaster placed next to the zone: it becomes part of the same Tornado Springs world as Storm Chaser, Windmill Towers, Al's Auto Academy and Cyclonator. For Paultons Park, the opening gave Tornado Springs a further layer after the area's major debut. For visitors, the ride broadens the line-up by adding an accessible coaster for children who are taking their first steps into roller coasters.
