Take a look inside Europa-Park's new themed area
Europa-Park officially opened its Ireland themed area, making Dancing Dingie available to guests. The rotating swinging ship became part of the former Kinderland's new mix of children's rides, play areas and food outlets.
More context
The day after Ireland officially opened, Looopings showed what Europa-Park's new themed area looked like in practice. For Dancing Dingie, that made the ride more than a name in a construction update: it was now a working guest attraction inside a fully refreshed family zone. The area combined several Irish-styled children's rides, including a small coaster and the rotating swinging ship Dancing Dingie. Around them were a tractor ride, boat carousel, small drop tower, slides, play equipment, roundabouts, souvenir shops and food outlets. For adults, The O'Mackay's Irish pub stood out as a notable addition. The new zone used farm animals and boats as recurring visual themes and sat next to the English area, on the site of the former Kinderland. For visitors, the opening showed how Europa-Park had replaced an older children's corner with a more complete themed land. That context gives Dancing Dingie extra weight in the park's history. It was not just a compact swing boat for children, but part of the atmosphere, walking route and family experience that defined Ireland from its first day.
