Ride details

Iron Gwazi

Iron Gwazi is Busch Gardens Tampa Bay's RMC hybrid, with a 206-foot lift hill, a 91-degree drop and a top speed of 76 mph.

Iron Gwazi reuses parts of the old Gwazi site, but rides like a modern RMC hybrid: purple IBox track, a steep first drop and a rapid-fire run of direction changes. The crocodile theme shows up in more than the name, with aggressive movements that snap, twist and skim low over the structure.

Notes

RCDB notes that Iron Gwazi's slight tilt gives it both a height and a drop of 206 feet. The official park page lists a 206-foot peak, a 91-degree drop and a top speed of 76 mph.

Theming

The ride leans into a crocodile motif. The old Gwazi legacy is still visible, but the new layout feels sharper and more predatory.
