Ride details

Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland is a classic semi-dark ride from April 1962 with Cheshire Cat vehicles and scenes inspired by Lewis Carroll's Wonderland.

Alice in Wonderland is one of Pleasure Beach Resort's classic dark rides. The ride begins in distinctive Cheshire Cat-style vehicles and leads guests through Blackpool's own take on Wonderland. It is gentler than the park's thrill rides, which is exactly why it remains such an important historic family attraction in the dark ride line-up.

Pleasure Beach Resort lists no minimum height with supervision and 3 ft 10 in for solo riders. Dark Ride Database and Coasterpedia describe Alice in Wonderland as an Arrow Dynamics tracked dark ride with Cheshire Cat vehicles, two riders per vehicle, an outdoor hill and an opening in April 1962; because no exact opening day has been confirmed reliably, opened_at remains empty.

Theming

The ride is based on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and uses Cheshire Cat vehicles, an outdoor hill and indoor scenes to take riders through Wonderland.
