Universal Cool Summer is de tijdelijke zomershow van Universal Beijing Resort. In de officiële aankondiging voor 2026 loopt het programma van 12 juni tot en met 16 augustus en keert de Battle of the Bands terug in het Hollywood Amphitheater. Daar wisselen Universal-personages en hun bands elkaar af met muziek, dans, licht en water: de Dragon Warrior Band, Shrek Band, King Julien Band en Illumination's Minions bouwen de party op, waarna de Megatron Band de rockfinale speelt. Het concept is nadrukkelijk interactief, met natte en drogere kijkzones zodat bezoekers zelf kunnen kiezen hoeveel splash erbij hoort. De show past daardoor het best bij seizoensentertainment: een energieke zomerparty in plaats van een vaste theatershow.
