German Plopsa park opens two rides in new themed area
From July 2024, Holiday Park let visitors try Greenville Bus and Blinky's Seifenkisten for the first time. The Blinky Bill area was still in a test phase, so the rides opened while theming work continued.
More context
In early July 2024, the first phase of Holiday Park Germany's new Blinky Bill area actually opened to guests. Looopings reported that two rides could be tried from that day: Greenville Bus and Blinky's Seifenkisten. For Blinky's Soapboxes, this was the point at which the announced speedway stopped being only a construction project and became something families could experience in the park. The opening came with an important nuance. The area was still in a test phase and the theming had not yet been fully completed. That makes the news especially useful in the ride's history: public access arrived before the complete decorative finish. Both rides were supplied by Zamperla and were themed to Blinky Bill, a Studio 100 character that received its own place beside Expedition GeForce. Looopings also placed the opening within a broader transformation. The former Base Camp area was due to grow further with a jeep safari, while a Smurfs dark ride and a family coaster themed to a werewolf were also planned. Blinky's Seifenkisten therefore became one of the first tangible pieces of Holiday Park's shift toward a clearer Plopsa identity.
