Kållerado stays open during nighttime Klubb Karusell
In September 2023, Liseberg turned into Klubb Karusell after regular closing time, a nightclub-style event for guests aged 21 and over. Kållerado was one of the major attractions kept open until midnight, alongside rides such as Balder, Loke and Valkyria.

In September 2023, Looopings reported that Liseberg took on a very different atmosphere after regular closing time. Under the name Klubb Karusell, the family amusement park in Gothenburg became a nighttime festival with pop-up bars, DJs, dance floors, live music, street food and games. The event ran from 22:00 to 03:00 and was limited to guests aged 21 and over.
Kållerado had a clear operational role within that concept. Liseberg kept several major attractions open until midnight, including Balder, Loke, Spokhotellet Gasten, Valkyria and the rapids ride Kållerado. As a result, the water attraction was not limited to an ordinary park day, but became part of an adult evening programme with festival energy.
For guests, this meant that a ride on Kållerado could be experienced outside Liseberg's usual family daytime atmosphere, as a break between music, food and the nighttime park setting. For fans, the news shows how flexibly the attraction can be used within the park's line-up. Kållerado is not only a summer rapids ride for daytime visits, but also a recognizable name when Liseberg experiments with evening openings and new audience formats.
