Legoland adds London skyscrapers to Miniland in 1.4 million euro makeover
LEGOLAND Windsor invested 1.2 million pounds in a Miniland makeover. Seven new London skyline models, built with more than two million bricks, refresh the miniature area shortly before its thirtieth anniversary.

Miniland received a notable refresh at LEGOLAND Windsor in 2025. The British park invested 1.2 million pounds, about 1.4 million euros, in new LEGO models based on London's modern skyline. The project did not replace the miniature area; it expanded and updated it. Alongside established favourites such as Big Ben, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square, seven contemporary skyscrapers and city landmarks were added. The scale of the work shows that Miniland remains a core part of the park's identity: builders spent 10,800 hours on the additions and used more than two million bricks. One Canada Square became the tallest model in the area at 5.4 metres. City Hall, The Cheesegrater and The Gherkin were also among the newcomers. For visitors, the makeover adds recognition, height and movement to a classic park zone, supported by 25 boats and 174 vehicles moving through the city scenes. Shortly before Miniland's thirtieth anniversary, LEGOLAND Windsor made clear that this miniature world is not a static display, but a living model of a changing London.
