Legoland Deutschland put its Miniland Allianz Arena at the centre of a very current public debate on 23 June 2021. Munich had wanted to light the real stadium in rainbow colours for the Euro 2020 match between Germany and Hungary, but UEFA rejected that plan, referring to political neutrality. The German Lego park then used its own scaled version of the stadium instead.
