Gröna Lund announced a historic move for winter 2022-2023: the Stockholm park would stage a full winter opening for the first time. Winter Wonderland ran from 2 December to 8 January and extended the park beyond its normal season with light shows, seasonal food and temporary winter experiences. The regular ride lineup did not disappear entirely. Kvasten was specifically named among the roller coasters that could open when weather conditions allowed, alongside Jetline, Monster, Tuff-Tuff Tåget and Vilda Musen.
