Aquascope video previews The Wave at Futuroscope
Futuroscope previewed Aquascope as a 6,000-square-metre indoor water park with slides, digital effects and a wave pool. For The Wave, the video placed the pool inside the French park's broader resort ambitions.

In February 2024, Looopings showed early video footage of Aquascope, the indoor water park Futuroscope planned to open later that year. The preview made clear that this was not meant to be a conventional pool complex: across 6,000 square metres, the park wanted to mix water attractions with projections, lighting and interactive technology.
For The Wave, the key detail was the planned wave pool. Alongside eight major slides, a children's area and an outdoor zone with a wild river, Aquascope would include a pool where moving water and waves added a more active kind of play. That gave The Wave a clear role in the most approachable part of the line-up: not an extreme slide, but an attraction that helps make the water park feel energetic, varied and alive.
The video also fitted into Futuroscope's wider transformation. The French destination was building hotels, a holiday park and new attractions to encourage longer stays. The Wave therefore became part of a much broader investment story, linking water fun, digital showmanship and resort development in a way that matched Futuroscope's technology-focused identity.
