More context
Europa-Park has completed the second phase of Silver Lake City with the opening of Riverside Western Lodge. The new hotel offers 119 rooms and 532 beds, becoming the central accommodation element of the western-themed area on the former Camp Resort site. It follows earlier additions such as western cottages, minigolf, restaurants, a bar and parking facilities. Alongside the hotel, the resort has added several supporting facilities: an on-site brewery producing Silver Lake Brew, a new Yullbe Go virtual-reality location, a 24-hour shop, an ice cream outlet, a hot dog stand and Chapel San Antonio, a small chapel for up to 25 people that can also host wedding ceremonies. The additions strengthen Silver Lake City as a self-contained holiday district next to the theme park. The area covers around ten hectares and combines hotel rooms with tipis, covered wagons, log cabins, campsites, a swimming lake and food and drink venues. Separately, Europa-Park is still working on plans for another hotel near Rulantica, potentially with up to 350 rooms.
