Europa-Park fills dinosaur ride with promotion for TV series
In 2025, Europa-Park added conspicuous Dino Mates promotion in and around Madame Freudenreich Curiosités. Posters, stickers, banners, TV footage and labels on the ride vehicles tied the dark ride directly to the new animated series.
More context
In July 2025, it became clear how visibly Europa-Park wanted to connect Madame Freudenreich Curiosités with Dino Mates. For the season, the dinosaur dark ride was filled with references to the new animated series based on the attraction. Posters, stickers and banners appeared in the queue, screens showed footage from the TV series, and the Dino Mates logo also turned up during the ride on items such as clothes, a newspaper and dinosaur outfits. Even the ride vehicles received promotional stickers. For visitors, the ride temporarily shifted from a standalone dark ride story into a clear promotional space for Europa-Park's own media world. Looopings also noted that Madame Freudenreich has a different appearance in the series than in the attraction: on television she looks younger and slimmer than the older grandmother figure in the ride. That detail makes the development especially interesting for fans, because it shows how a park character can be adapted when moving from themed scenery to animated television.
