At the start of 2025, Energylandia announced a new queue-skipping system for the coming season. Called Energy Pass, it allowed guests to bypass the regular queue at thirteen popular attractions for 199 zloty, roughly 47 euros. Looopings reported that Toffifee Gold Mine, the international name used for Toffifee Kopalnia Zlota in park communication, was part of that line-up.

The change mattered because Energylandia was moving to a clearer paid priority-access product. The regular Energy Pass covered attractions including Pepsi Hyperion, Zadra, Abyssus, Fluff Choco Chip Creek, Toffifee Gold Mine, Anaconda, Formula and Speed Water Coaster. A cheaper Energy Pass Ulgowy, priced at 79 zloty and aimed at children under 140 centimetres, was also introduced. That reduced version was valid at Toffifee Gold Mine as well.

For visitors, this changed the ride's role. Toffifee Kopalnia Zlota was not just a regular family water ride; it also became part of the paid system for reducing wait times. That places the log flume among the attractions Energylandia considered important enough to include in its new priority product.

In November 2022, Looopings made clear that Energylandia's winter opening did not mean the entire park would be available. During Winter Kingdom, running from Saturday 26 November to Sunday 8 January 2023, a significant part of the attraction line-up remained out of use. Newer themed areas such as Aqualantis were closed for work, while Sweet Valley was still not ready to open.

Toffifee Kopalnia Zlota appeared in the list of water attractions that would definitely stay closed. Energylandia kept all water rides out of operation during the event, including Jungle Adventure, Speed, Atlantis, Anaconda, Viking Ride, Wyspa Skarbow and the log flume Toffifee Kopalnia Zlota. For guests this was a clear practical limitation: the park offered its winter atmosphere, lights and seasonal programme, but not its water-ride line-up.
