In March 2020, it became clear that Energylandia no longer wanted to present Anaconda as a bare water ride. During the winter, the park had upgraded the station with decorations inspired by ancient cultures from Central and South America, including the Maya, Inca and Aztec worlds. As a result, the Intamin attraction that opened in 2017 gained a stronger identity less than three years after its debut.
