Apollo's Chariot is a B&M hypercoaster with a 210-foot drop and a long string of airtime hills.
Apollo's Chariot is all about speed, sweeping elevation changes and airtime rather than inversions. The train climbs 170 feet, then drops 210 feet into a terrain-hugging run of hills that makes the ride feel long, fast and wide open.
Festa Italia
RCDB lists a capacity of 1,750 riders per hour, 0 inversions, a 65-degree drop angle and a maximum g-force of 4.1.
The theme references Apollo and his sun chariot from Greco-Roman mythology, which fits the coaster's lofty layout and the sensation of flying across the landscape.
