Falcon's Fury

Falcon's Fury is an Intamin Sky Jump drop tower where the seats tilt forward just before the drop.

Falcon's Fury builds tension step by step: first the gondola rises above Pantopia, then the seats tip into a face-down position before the freefall begins. The effect feels more direct than on a classic drop tower, because riders are hanging toward the ground instead of sitting upright when the drop starts.

The official Busch Gardens Tampa page lists a 54-inch minimum height, a 300-foot drop, a top speed of 60 mph and a 90-degree face-down tilt. Wikipedia and Coasterpedia also mention the September 2, 2014 opening date, the Intamin Sky Jump model, a 335-foot tower height, one vehicle, 32 riders, a 2-minute ride cycle and a capacity of 800 riders per hour. The official 300-foot drop remains the leading figure, even though some secondary sources also cite roughly 310 feet.
