Backyardigans Pirate Treasure is a Mack Rides Sea Storm in Nickelodeon Land that opened in 1999 before later being rethemed as a pirate ride.
Backyardigans Pirate Treasure is a compact spinning ship ride with an unusually long second life. It started out in the Beaver Creek era as Bradley Beaver's Pirate Ship Ride, then picked up a new name, new characters and a softer pirate theme when Nickelodeon Land arrived.
Pleasure Beach Resort lists no minimum height with an accompanying adult and 3 feet 11 inches for solo riders on Backyardigans Pirate Treasure. Coasterpedia identifies the ride as a Mack Rides Sea Storm with 32 riders per cycle and traces its origins to Bradley Beaver's Pirate Ship Ride from 1999, later rethemed for Nickelodeon Land.
The ride casts The Backyardigans as its pirate crew, matching the adventurous, child-friendly tone of Nickelodeon Land.
