The installation opened in 1989 as The Canal Boat Ride, became Riverbank Eye Spy in 1999, later received new 3D theming and was rebuilt for CBeebies Land as In The Night Garden. For the current CBeebies version, the opening date remains 24 May 2014; the older installation year is retained here as historical context.
