Haunted Hollow
Haunted Hollow is a spooky walking route between Mutiny Bay and Gloomy Wood.
Haunted Hollow is not a ride, but a themed shortcut through the greenery of Alton Towers. The route uses statues, graves, sound effects and small interactive touches to give the walk between park areas more character, with just enough spooky tone for families without becoming a full scare attraction.

Haunted Hollow partly uses the route of the old Park Railway, which closed in 1996, and connects Mutiny Bay with Gloomy Wood via a themed woodland path filled with monuments and interactive spooky effects.
Theming
The route links Gloomy Wood to the rest of the park with ghosts, gravestones, statues and sound effects that give the estate a lightly macabre edge.
