Wait times from June 15, 19:00 to June 16, 19:00
Theme park fans had plenty to watch. While the wider park world buzzed with summer events, fan participation and special evenings, the wait-time data told its own ride-filled story: Japan was hot, Madrid had chunky peaks, and Florida served up a few very calm surprises.
Longest queues: Mine Cart Madness leads the pack
The biggest headline queue came from Universal Studios Japan. Mine Cart Madness™ averaged 140.6 minutes and reached a maximum of 230 minutes. That is the kind of wait that deserves a proper strategy.
Tokyo DisneySea also packed plenty of queue energy:
- Journey to the Center of the Earth: 124.4 minutes on average, max 200.
- Soaring: Fantastic Flight: 117.7 minutes on average, max 160.
- Tower of Terror: 100 minutes on average, max 140.
- Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey: 96 minutes on average, max 160.
Elsewhere, WildFire at Silver Dollar City stood out at 103.8 minutes on average, while Abismo at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid averaged 98.9 minutes.
Busy parks with useful context
Traumatica topped the park averages with 75 minutes, based on 3 samples. Behind it came Universal Studios Japan at 46.9 minutes and Cedar Point at 43.1 minutes. At Cedar Point, the maximum wait reached 135 minutes.
Disney Adventure World averaged 42.8 minutes and peaked at 100. Shanghai Disneyland stayed just under 30 minutes on average, but Seven Dwarfs Mine Train still hit 150 minutes and TRON Lightcycle Power Run reached 135 minutes.
Downtime and late openings
For downtime, Movie Park Germany was the eye-catcher with many registered downtime minutes and 27 events. Several attractions were listed as down for a long stretch, including Star Trek™: Operation Enterprise, The Bandit, Area 51 - Top Secret and Ghost Chasers.
Parque Warner Madrid, Parque de Atracciones de Madrid and Bobbejaanland also showed many downtime registrations. At Efteling, Fata Morgana remained listed as maintenance across the full 1440-minute measurement period.
Notable late openings included:
- Magiezijn at Toverland: first seen open 234 minutes late.
- Disneyland Railroad stations at Disneyland Paris: 198 minutes late.
- Several Gardaland rides, including Peter Pan and Monorotaia: 187 minutes late.

Quiet gems: Florida and Mexico
It was not all queue drama. Aquatica Orlando was a cheerful low-wait surprise: 4 samples, 0 minutes on average and 0 minutes maximum. Six Flags Mexico was almost beautifully tidy too, staying at 5 minutes average and 5 minutes max.
The quiet windows were just as interesting:
- Busch Gardens Williamsburg showed multiple 0-minute blocks, including 00:00-02:00, 03:00-05:00 and 06:00-08:00.
- SeaWorld Orlando averaged 0 minutes between 08:00 and 10:00.

Practical fan tip
Check your must-rides early, especially the big crowd magnets. At Universal Studios Japan, the quiet signal was 5 minutes around 09:00, while the same dataset showed a 230-minute peak at 10:00. Start with the headliner, keep an eye on live downtime and save calm windows for re-rides.
