Wait time recap: 16 June 11:00 - 17 June 11:00
The past 24 hours brought the liveliest European queue story to Spain and France. Ferrari Land stood out with a park average of 37 minutes and a peak of 100 minutes. Disney Adventure World was close behind in fan-interest terms: 34 minutes on average, also peaking at 100 minutes.
PortAventura averaged 28 minutes and recorded the highest European park peak in this report: 120 minutes. That is the kind of line where coaster chat, sunscreen and a snack suddenly become essential kit.
The longest queues
These were the headline wait times:
- Red Force at Ferrari Land: 91 minutes on average, max 100 minutes.
- Abismo at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid: 89 minutes on average, max 120 minutes.
- Crush’s Coaster at Disney Adventure World: 72 minutes on average, max 100 minutes.
- Batman Gotham City Escape at Parque Warner Madrid: 64 minutes on average, max 90 minutes.
- Tarot House at Traumatica: a steady 75 minutes in the samples.
Outside Europe, Shanghai Disneyland appeared as a clear statistical outlier, with Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Zootopia: Hot Pursuit far above the European top waits. Interesting data candy, but today’s main European action sat firmly in Spain, France and Germany.
Quiet surprises: Rulantica and Plopsaland Deutschland
Between those big waits, Rulantica delivered a very cheerful quiet spell. From 02:00 to 06:00, the measured average was 1 minute across 14 attractions. The 07:00 to 10:00 window also stayed breezy, averaging 1.21 minutes with a max of 5 minutes.
Plopsaland Deutschland also had a lovely calm window: 16:00 to 18:00 averaged 2.09 minutes across 33 attractions, with a maximum of 5 minutes. Nice timing for a park that also had fans talking thanks to upcoming anniversary festivities for a well-known coaster.
There were more easy-going moments too: Bobbejaanland sat at 5 minutes around 15:00-16:00, while Europa-Park averaged 2.6 minutes between 08:00 and 09:00.
Downtime and later starts
At Efteling, Fata Morgana was marked as maintenance throughout the reporting window. Bobbejaanland showed the same full-window pattern for Terra Magma, listed as down. Both count 1440 minutes within this 24-hour report.
The most notable late openings in Europe were at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid: Star Flyer and Tarántula were first seen open at 14:13, 193 minutes after their scheduled time. Thorpe Park also had several later starts, including Ghost Train and The Swarm.
Practical tip
Before heading out, check the live wait times per park. If headline rides such as Red Force, Crush’s Coaster or Abismo are already climbing early, ride them first or save them for a calmer window later in the day.
